Rules

• All entries must be received via the "Enter to Win" button at Mayaheights.com

• Winner must be at least 18 years old and only one entry per person

• Winner and one guest must travel at the same time.

• Family and employees of Flower World, FreshWater Creek Farms, and Maya Heights Resort are not eligible to win.

• Odds of winning are determined by the number of entries received

• All trips must be booked using the Maya Heights Resort Travel Agent.

• Contest winners who fail to meet eligibility requirements will forfeit their winnings and a new contestant winner will be randomly selected.

• All contest decisions are made by Flower World, Inc. and are final.  Flower World, Inc. has the authority to change or cancel the contest at any time.
   

​FAQs

1.  How do I know I have won?
Winner will be chosen at random on 12.20.2025 and notified via email prior to Christmas Day. Maya Heights will use the contact information provided on your entry form.

2.  Can I decide the dates for taking the vacation?
Yes.  The trip has to be taken within 12 months of the winning date received and is subject to lodging availability. We also require an advance notice of 4 weeks prior to travel.  Our travel agent will verify availability and help you book and plan your entire trip.

3.  Can I choose who gets to enjoy the free vacation?
Yes.  You can take the trip or you can give away your winnings.  You will need to notify Maya Heights Resort of any changes and provide the necessary information.

4.  How do I book my flight?
Maya Heights Resort is working directly with a travel agency in Snohomish, WA.  They have expertise in arranging trips to Belize and will book the free airfare for you and your guest. They will also coordinate the lodging at Maya Heights Resort and your transfers to/from the airport to Maya Heights Resort for you and your guest.

5.  In addition to the winner and 1 guest, can additional guests be added to the winning Maya Heights Resort trip?
Yes.  You are welcome to bring additional guests (with cabin availability). Anyone in addition to the winner and one guest will be required to pay their own travel expenses including airfare and lodging.  Our travel agency can arrange this as well.  Don’t forget, everyone in your travel party is eligible for a 10% discount on food, drinks, and local tours booked through Maya Heights Resort.

6.  How many times can I enter?
You can enter once. However, continue to visit mayaheights.com often as future promotions and trips may be coming.

7.  Do I have to stay at the Resort the entire time?
No. The free 6-night / 7-day stay must be taken in sequence unless previously arranged differently.  You can stay at other resorts, but only your stay at Maya Heights Resort is included in this giveaway.  Any costs associated with traveling to/from or staying at other resorts cannot be transferred and will not be reimbursed.  The Resort organizes all kinds of tours on and off the resort, and you receive a 10 % discount on these tours. You will not receive discounts for tours you organize independently.  If you and your guest choose to end your trip somewhere other than Maya Heights Resort, travel costs back to Belize International airport are at your expense.

8.  Can I stay longer at the Resort?
Yes, subject to availability.  The 10% discount will apply to additional lodging as well.

9.  Do I need a passport to enter Belize?
Yes.  Other documents may also be required.  Check with our travel agent for details.

10.  Is participation exclusive to people from Washington State?
No.  Eligibility is not restricted to those living in Washington State.

11.  If I live closer to Belize than Seattle, can I travel to/from my local airport instead?
Yes.  Our travel agent will help book these flights. In the event the winner and one guest are traveling from different airports, our travel agent will arrange separate flights for each person.  See the answer to Question #12 regarding how flight costs outside the Seattle area will be handled.

12.  What if I travel from an airport other than Seattle?
Our travel agent will provide a credit amount equal to the round trip flight to / from Seattle.  You will be required to pay any difference that may be associated with flying from outside the Seattle area. In the event the flight cost is less than traveling from Seattle, the difference is not reimbursable and does not carry any cash value.

13.  Is a purchase required to win the contest?
No. You can enter/ win without making a purchase.

14.  What is the estimated value of the winning trip?
$4,000 US

15.  What are tax consequences of winning the trip?
All applicable taxes are the sole responsibility of the winner.  The winner will be issued an IRS 1099 form from Flower World, Inc. for the applicable tax year.  Should you choose to give your trip away, the tax responsibility and the IRS 1099 form will be transferred to the new recipient.
